Key Design Highlights

Mechanical Structure: Equipped with a third-generation 10-speed gearbox (50% smaller), supporting dual-channel shifting, gear indicator linked to the instrument panel, and neutral/reverse functions; front and rear suspensions can be independently raised and lowered and linked to the front spoiler and rear wing respectively, featuring a steering roll system.

Detail Recreation: Features include suction-operated gull-wing doors, a removable hood, dynamic instrument cluster, and newly molded wheels; over 95% of the parts are high-quality bricks, with a texture closely resembling the cool metallic feel of the real car.

Packaging and Experience: A five-layer inner box design; the instruction manual is 3.8cm thick and includes explanations of technical principles, continuing the philosophy of "knowing not only what, but also why."

Industry Positioning: This work is considered a benchmark for Chinese-made building blocks in the field of large-scale Technic MOCs. Because LEGO did not simultaneously release an official McLaren W1 set, some enthusiasts have called it "doing what LEGO should do," and it has received high praise for its building logic, mechanical linkages, and craftsmanship.
